Bas-Armagnac Château de Bordeneuve 2008

This Bas-Armagnac comes exclusively from Château de Bordeneuve. Under current regulations, only the word ‘Château’ (or domaine, clos, métairie…) on the label guarantees that 100% of the juice used comes from the indicated domain.

Production

  • Varietals: 100 %Ugni-Blanc
  • Distillation: Armagnac-type still with continuous distillation to an alcoholic degree of 56.
  • Ageing: French oak barrels, until the bottling date inscribed on the back label.

Tasting Notes

  • Amber hue with mahogany highlights.
  • Delicate nose with notes of vanilla, cinnamon and candied oranges.
  • Lovely and round in the mouth. Floral notes with wood and spice on a lovely long finale of grilled almonds and vanilla.
