Champagne Gobillard Brut Grande Réserve Premier Cru
Scrumptious nose of baked Bramley apples, spiced with a hint of star anise. Nuances of cream and baking bread. Greengage fruit and honey on the palate; a touch of fresh herbs, and more than a suggestion of minerality. Excellent balance between brisk acidity and creamy texture. A really terrific Champagne from an excellent quality, small producer located between Taittinger and Dom Pérignon in the village of Hautvilliers. It comes exclusively from Premier Cru vineyard sites: mostly from Hautvilliers, and also the neighbouring villages of Cumières and Dizy.
