Truffle Lovers Gift Box
These are not the truffle products you see at the big box stores. Sadly, most of the black truffle oil on the market today never actually comes in contact with a truffle. But oh, these wonderful products are so different! The olives are harvested directly from the olive trees at Les Pastras, a very small-production farm in the heart of Provence. After pressing, the oil is infused with true, authentic tuber melanosporum (black truffles) for 7 days – yes, that means it actually is in direct contact with the truffles. This is a 3oz. tin, but you don’t need to use nearly as much of this oil as you would with a fake truffle oil. It’s taste is intense and elegant (“like a woman” Les Pastras’ owner, Johann, will tell you). This is the real deal! The honey has an actual slice of winter black truffle (more intense than the summer’s white truffle). It is rare to find a product this incredibly unique. The taste of the truffle infuses the honey for an unbelievable flavor combination. In fact, when you open your box, you’ll notice that the smell of the truffle can even permeate the jar! And the Carmargue truffle salt, with real pieces of truffle, comes with a free wood salt scoop.
